Listed in 1793 catalogue, no. 472. Borrowed twice by John Jay. First, on September 3, 1790 (v. 1) and returned on September 6, 1790; vol. 2 borrowed on the same date and returned on September 16, 1790; borrowed again on October 17, 1791 (v. 1), returned on October 20, 1791; v. 2 borrowed on October 26, 1791 and returned on October 27, 1791. Also borrowed by Elizabeth De Peyster (v. 1 only): July 19th, 1790, returned on August 4th. Listed in library's 1789 catalogue, p. 40; annotated "Bot [sic] by B. Livingston '89".
