"De syrmaismo, et ratione purgandi per vomitum, ex Aegyptiorum invento & formula" (leaves 7-8) and "An caseus edendo sit salubris" (leaves 26-27) are adaptations from epist. 29 and 48 of book 2 of the Epistolarum medicinalium miscellanea by Johannes Lange.
"Summa Privilegii" on final leaf dated: "Octobris, 1570" and signed by "Denys."
Signatures: [dagger]⁴ A-G⁴.
Local Note Library copy from the Winthrop Collection. Recently rebound in full calf; fragments of original binding, including printed waste, retained. Bound fifth in a volume with Mizauld's Memorabilium (1584) and three other titles. 146 in red crayon, No 373 in ink, No 139 in pencil on preliminary leaves. Bound together subsequent to publication.
